EagleShield's motto is short: "Flight Tracking. Simplified." Our focus is to create software templates that are easy to use for the UAS industry. Our primary focus is the public safety, search and rescue, and public utilities groups who use drones to complete their daily work. It is important to track all flights as part of the standard work routine, in order to deal with several types of issues that may arise from managing a drone program. Some of those issues may be maintenance related, staying on top of equipment replacement cycles, and tracking both flight hours and training hours by licensed pilots. Similar to how manned-aircraft pilots need to log their flights, UAS pilots should be tracking theirs. Should there ever be a drone failure, it's important to be able to easily ascertain all the information needed if the responsible government agencies come knocking on the door to investigate the incident. The proper tracking may also assist in reducing liability from a civil standpoint. EagleShield makes tracking all this information very easy, on a platform that everyone is familiar with. The beauty of our software template is that it has been tested and validated repeatedly to make sure everything is accurate.
